July is typically clear and warm in the Napa Valley, with an average daily temperature of 83ºF. Evenings are generally mild, but as the sun sets, temperatures can dip. Napa has many microclimates, and while it may be warm on the valley floor, it can be cool in the hills. The best strategy is layered clothing that allows you to adjust to this variety while remaining comfortable.
Attire for Festival del Sole events is “Napa Style” – casual elegance for luncheons, dinners and concerts alike.
For men: Summer weight slacks worn with collared shirt. For evening events, men typically wear a sport coat, with or without a tie as they prefer.
For women: It can be warm during the day but cool at night, so bring a wrap or sweater for outdoor concerts and dinners. Practical shoes are recommended, as many events take place in outdoor settings, and hosts may invite guests to visit locations that will require walking on grass, gravel paths or uneven terrain.
Recommended attire for the Annual Festival Gala at Meadowood is included in the linked event description.

Most wineries and all concert venues are accessible by wheelchair. If this access is needed, please contact the festival box office or concierge and proper arrangements will be made in advance. Valet parking can be helpful to our patrons who have concerns about mobility.
If you have special dietary restrictions or preferences, please notify the festival concierge well in advance of the event, so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
Guests should arrive approximately 30 minutes before a concert’s starting time, earlier if they are planning to attend the pre-concert reception (open to VIP Pass holders). Most concerts last 90 to 120 minutes with a 10-15 minute intermission.
