Grgich Hills Estate is an iconic Napa Valley wine estate, consistently producing world-class wines. Vintner Hall of Fame inductee Miljenko “Mike” Grgich first earned world-wide recognition when the Chardonnay he crafted won the 1976 Paris Tasting, beating the best of France. Mike then partnered with Austin Hills to open their family-owned-and-operated winery in 1977. Today, Mike is assisted by his daughter, Violet Grgich, Vice-President of Operations, and his nephew, Ivo Jeramaz, Vice-President of Vineyards and Production.

Driving from the city of Napa on the main highway (Highway 29, also called St. Helena Highway), the winery is located approximately 15 miles north in Rutherford at 1829 St. Helena Highway, about 1/2 mile north of the Rutherford Grill, on the left side of the road. Look for a large white stucco building with a red tile roof.
