Cheryl North of the San Jose Mercury News profiles two "local musicians" who are featured in this year's festival, Constantine Orbelian and Gordon Getty, while noting that there are "many other treats from a galaxy of stars."

In its final pre-season article, Napa Valley's paper of record notes that Festival del Sole "has become one of the valley’s annual summertime treats, combining classical, opera, dance and theater performances with memorable meals, yoga classes and other activities," and includes 10 essential facts about the festival, from an interview with General Director Sonia Tolbert.

NBC Bay Area calls Festival del Sole "the July soiree that alights in Napa Valley for several days and nights, bringing with it exquisite eats and special orchestra appearances and special thespian appearances and jazz greats and young performers and exercise." After a program review, NBC summarizes: "it is hard to stop the hand-flailing and excitement... see all that this European-style, swanky-cool party has to offer. The bag is deep and the gems inside are plentiful."

Just two weeks ago today, Festival del Sole had the honor of producing an Ode to Joy flash mob for HALL Wines that wowed the large crowd at the 2015 Auction Napa Valley Barrel Auction. The surprise performance was a first of its kind in the Napa Valley and served as a preview to Festival del Sole's landmark tenth season. Wine Spectator and others reposted the video on their sites.
