Festival Napa Valley is pleased to announce that Emmy Award-winning and Grammy-nominated entertainer Wayne Brady will star as host and emcee of Imaginarium: The Annual Festival Gala. Fresh from his leading role in the Broadway sensation Kinky Boots, and famed for TV’s improvisational series Whose Line Is It Anyway?, the actor, singer and comedian will conduct the Sunday, July 17 festivities from the dramatic tented stage on the fairway lawn at Meadowood Napa Valley.

Haute Living's Kelly Carter covers the festival's Donor and Sponsor Appreciation dinner, noting that one in every four concert seats was given free of charge to local residents, that the festival awarded $275,000 in grants to arts education programs in schools throughout Napa County, and that the 11th season will be dedicated to Margrit Mondavi, with performances and events reflective of the Mondavi family’s Italian heritage and their belief that wine, food and art are to be celebrated together.

On November 4, Ann and Gordon Getty invited guests to their Pacific Heights home for the annual Napa Valley Festival Del Sole Appreciation Dinner. The evening recognized the festival's major donors and sponsors, announced the awarding of $275,000 in arts education grants, and revealed the dedication of the festival's 2016 season to Margrit Mondavi.

Festival del Sole announced its 2015 grants. They included $120,000 to fulfill a wish list from visual and performing arts teachers, a $50,000 grant to begin creating a master plan for arts education, $30,000 for Lincoln Theater's Artist in Residence Program, and $15,000 for Napa Valley Youth Symphony. {View PDF | View on Napavalleyregister.com}
