Start the day right with a gentle and invigorating yoga practice at SENZA, a luxury boutique hotel just minutes south of Yountville. Set within two acres of vineyards, gardens, towering pine trees and redwoods, the peaceful environment at SENZA invites guests to unwind, relax and renew. Following the morning yoga practice attendees are treated to a wine tasting and nutritious, light bites. Bliss.

Elegance is the watchword for today’s garden party luncheon at Spottswoode Estate.

Situated on the western edge of St. Helena, at the foot of the Mayacamas Mountains, this historic vineyard and winery is renowned for its exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon, described by Paul Lukacs in The Great Wines of America as the “Grace Kelly of Napa Valley wines.”

Owner Mary Novak and winery President & CEO Beth Novak Milliken welcome festival patrons for an afternoon showcasing the beauty and bounty of their family-run winery. Guests will first gather poolside to enjoy some of Spottswoode’s notably expressive and complex wines, overlooking the organically farmed Spottswoode Estate Vineyard. The estate's private Victorian home provides a dramatic backdrop to today’s exquisite lunch, served in the gardens on the property’s sweeping lawn.

The festival's annual Community Concert showcases the sensational Young People's Chorus of New York City, a proudly multicultural ensemble the Wall Street Journal praised for its "astounding virtuosity and palpable joy." Founded and conducted by MacArthur "genius" grant recipient Francisco J. Núñez, the award-winning chorus, whose members range in age from 7 to 18, is in residence at New York's Jazz at Lincoln Center and has sung at Carnegie Hall, the White House and in venues from Japan to Brazil. It serves up a repertoire that ranges from Renaissance music to commissioned works by contemporary composers, gospel, and folk songs from around the world.

The program will also feature the Napa Regional Dance Company, making its Festival Napa Valley debut this summer with a special program prepared by the students and faculty of its 2016 Summer Intensive. Founded in 1988 with a mission to provide excellent dance training and education while promoting dance as an art form, its instructors come from such groups as American Ballet Theater, Dance Theater of Harlem, Oakland Ballet, Ballet West, Joffrey Ballet and the Boston Conservatory.

Free admission; however, tickets are required.

In a festival filled with special evenings, this is one that truly stands alone. Tonight Festival Napa Valley honors one of California's most revered and influential figures – Margrit Mondavi – at the legendary Far Niente.

The irrepressible Margrit, a culture-nurturing philanthropist who, for more than four decades, has enriched the life of the Napa Valley and beyond, will be feted at a celebration that features all of her passions: wine, food, art and community.

Tonight the stars will truly come out, as vintners, artists and celebrities – including Academy Award-winning screen goddess Sophia Loren, jazz superstar Dave Koz and Grammy Award-nominated vocalist Monica Mancini – pay homage to Margrit's influence and lasting legacy.

Dining alfresco, in one the most stunning landscapes in the Napa Valley, guests will be treated to an unforgettable meal, executed by Lidia Bastianich and Fortunato Nicotra, executive chef of Felidia, designed to honor Margrit's contributions to wine country cuisine.

Dinner will be matched with Far Niente's superlative Cabernet and Chardonnay vintages; the winery's Dolce, admiringly known as "liquid gold from the Napa Valley," will accompany dessert.
