The Échappé String Quartet recently received the 2012 Mondavi Young Artist Competition Ensemble Award as well as the Bouchaine Young Artists Prize.

Klein Competition in San Francisco, she has also won top prizes in the Cooper, Stulberg, and Corpus Christi International Competitions, and has soloed with many orchestras including the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, the New West Symphony, Culver City and Torrance Symphonies, and the Western Michigan University Orchestra.

Sarina Zhang, Cello
Sarina Zhang has accumulated a mantel full of top awards as both pianist and cellist. She was a finalist at the 2011 Stulberg International String Competition. Sarina won the First Place in the 2010 Aspen Music Festival’s low strings competition and was awarded alternate in their piano concerto competition. In 2009, Sarina won the Juilliard Pre-College Dvorák Cello Concerto Competition and was named a 2009 Davidson Fellow by the Davidson Institute for Talent Development. In the same year, Sarina won the New York Ensemble 212 Young Artist Competition.
