Day Two of Napa Valley Festival del Sole began with the ever-popular Yoga in the Vineyard at the Harvest Inn. Following a gentle and invigorating session led by esteemed yoga instructor Courtney Willis, guests enjoyed a post-yoga glass of Sullivan Vineyards wine and KIND Healthy Snacks Granola Parfait.
Later that morning, a sold out A Taste of Napa welcomed more than 1,000 guests. Attendees sampled local bites and sips from nearly 70 local restaurants, food artisans, breweries and wineries. Guests could also attend a wellness seminar with Dr. Melina Jampolis and an entertaining live cooking demonstration from Top Chef’s Season 7 “fan favorite” Tiffany Derry.
Lincoln Theater was home to an array of musical talent for the evening’s concert. Maestra Alondra de la Parra returned to the festival to conduct Sphinx Symphony, a unique all-Black and Latino orchestra. They were joined on stage by Pinchas Zukerman, one of the world’s greatest violinists, and the celebrated tenor James Valenti.
The evening continued with a Patron Dinner and Concert at Gargiulo Vineyards. Grammy-nominated jazz singer Monica Mancini gave an intimate performance and Dave Koz joined her for a surprise guest appearance, starting off with a dreamy version of Somewhere Over the Rainbow as the sun set gently on the Napa Valley. Jeff Gargiulo closed out the night with a special performance with his band, The Silverado Pickups.
On the south end of the valley, Jamieson Ranch Vineyards was opened to Allegro pass holders for an After Party featuring seasonal bites from winery Chef Carmen Guzman. A live jazz performance from Nick Phillips took place on the veranda.
